BSC Wellness is based in Noosaville. We design, supply and build saunas and steam rooms for homes and commercial facilities across the Sunshine Coast and Noosa.

BSC Wellness, formerly Brisbane Spa Centre, has designed and built saunas and steam rooms in Queensland since1980. Our base is in Noosaville, and much of our recent work is nearby: home saunas in Noosa Heads and Noosa Springs, a home sauna and steam room in Noosa, an infrared sauna above the water, a commercial wellness facility with three heat rooms, and a commercial sauna at Alexandra Headlands.
For each project we work from the space and how it will be used, then design the room, specify the equipment, build it and support it afterwards. We are the Queensland agent for Harvia and the Australian agent for Dundalk LeisureCraft prefabricated saunas, so custom rooms and prefab saunas are both planned locally.

Sub-tropical, coastal sites change the detailing more than the feasibility. Our guides cover each point in

Salt air on the coast
Near the beach, fixings and metal parts are the first to suffer. Stainless grades, heater position and drying after use are planned for coastal sites.

Humidity and summer rain
Cedar on outdoor saunas swells and shrinks with the weather, and damp shaded surfaces need airflow. Outdoor saunas are sited and maintained with that in mind.

Hot roof spaces
Steam generators need a cool, ventilated, serviceable plant space. Queensland roof spaces can run hotter than generator makers allow, so plant is located early.

Approvals and access
Outdoor saunas on some sites need council or building approval, and hillside or beachside blocks need access for delivery and assembly. Both are checked before ordering.
